DENTAL EMERGENCY CALL US NOW!

A dental emergency refers to any situation where immediate dental care is required to alleviate severe pain.

COMMONLY KNOWN AS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT.
It is a dental procedure used to save an infected or damaged tooth. The procedure involves accessing the inside of the tooth and removing the infected or damaged pulp tissue, cleaning and shaping the root canals, and filling them with a biocompatible material. The tooth is then sealed with a filling or onlay/crown to restore its function and appearance. Root canal treatment is generally performed under local anaesthesia and is a safe and effective way to relieve pain and save a tooth from extraction.

Without root canal treatment, the infection or damage can spread to the surrounding tissues, causing abscesses, severe pain, and potentially leading to tooth loss. Common reasons for needing root canal treatment include deep cavities, trauma to the tooth, and cracks or fractures in the tooth. The symptoms of an infected or damaged tooth may include persistent pain, sensitivity to heat and cold, swelling, and discolouration.
